MISS ABBIE
Abbie Havis L.IDT, BA.(Hons), PGCE, QTS, ARAD
Miss Abbie is a highly experienced and sought-after Dance teacher, currently teaching at various studio across Norfolk.
Being brought up in a performing family it was inevitable that she would have a career in performing arts, and was privileged to be part of the cast of two West End shows (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat and Billy Elliot) for a period of 6 years before going on to continue her dance training.
After successfully completing her Ballet Education degree at the Royal Academy of Dance, she achieved her Post-Graduate Certificate in Education specialising in Dance Teaching.
Miss Abbie also has a range of dance teaching qualifications, including Licenciate in Tap and Associate in Ballet, Modern and Acro, and is part of the team that demonstrates programmes of study for a UK based examination awarding body.
Her favourite aspect of teaching dance is preparing students for examinations, as this allows the opportunity to observe and appreciate the students’ progression.
Miss Abbie is very much looking forward to being a member of the Wham Team.
