WHAM THEATRE SCHOOLS - UNIFORM SHOP POLICY and TERMS & CONDITIONS
(UPDATED 2025)
1. Ordering
- Orders for uniforms and merchandise (including T-Shirts, Hoodies, water bottles, and accessories) are placed via our website: www.whamtheatreschools.com.
- Please check all details, sizes, and personalisation requirements before completing your order. These cannot be changed once submitted unless you contact us within 1 hour of placing your order (see below).
2. Personalised Items
- Personalised products (such as T-Shirts, Hoodies, or any item with a name or detail added) cannot be swapped, refunded, or exchanged once ordered, unless the item is faulty, not as described, or damaged and it is not the customer’s fault. This complies with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which excludes personalised or made-to-order goods from the standard right to cancel.
- 1-hour grace period: If you realise you have made an incorrect selection (for example, size, spelling, or personalisation details), please email info@whamtheatreschools.com within 1 hour of placing your order. We will do our best to amend your order before it is processed, but cannot guarantee changes after this time.
- Please double-check all details before confirming your order.
3. Non-Personalised Items (Hygiene Clause)
- For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for non-personalised uniform items if the original packaging has been opened or the WHAM security sticker has been broken or removed, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described. Uniforms are worn for physical activity and must remain in brand new, unworn condition for the safety and reassurance of all customers.
- If you wish to return a non-personalised item, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be unworn, unwashed, in its original packaging, and with the WHAM sticker unbroken. If these conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange unless the item is faulty or not as described.
- This clause is in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and other relevant UK consumer law.
4. Water Bottles and Hygiene-Sensitive Items
- For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for water bottles or any other hygiene-sensitive items if the packaging has been opened or the security seal has been broken, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described. This is to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
- If you wish to return a water bottle or similar item, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and with any security seal unbroken. If these conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange unless the item is faulty or not as described.
5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
- If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at info@whamtheatreschools.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo if possible.
- Once confirmed, we will arrange a replacement, repair, or a full refund for the affected item, in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- This clause applies to both personalised and non-personalised products.
6. Delivery
- The standard wait for uniform orders is up to 3 weeks, with a minimum fulfilment time of 10 days from order confirmation.
- Sometimes, products may be dispatched sooner than this. Early dispatch does not guarantee that future orders will be processed or delivered within the same timeframe.
- Made to Order Items: Some items may be made to order and will be clearly marked as such on our website. These may take longer than 3 weeks to arrive, as they are sourced from external suppliers. Please check product descriptions for specific lead times.
- Delivery is via our chosen courier, with a standard postage rate starting at £3.50 per order.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched.
7. Safeguarding and Uniform Policy
- Wearing WHAM Theatre Schools uniform is compulsory for all students and staff, as part of our safeguarding and inclusion commitment.
- Uniforms must be worn in line with our Uniform Policy, available on our website.
8. Data Protection and GDPR
- All personal information provided when placing an order is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- We only collect and use your data to process your order, fulfil our contract with you, and comply with legal obligations.
- Your information is never shared with third parties except as necessary for order fulfilment, such as delivery couriers.
- You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
9. Contact & Enquiries
For any queries about your order, or to exercise your consumer or data rights, please email info@whamtheatreschools.com. Our team aims to respond within 1–2 working days.
10. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
Key Clause for Customers:
Non-personalised uniform items and hygiene-sensitive products such as water bottles can only be returned if the packaging is unopened and the security seal or WHAM sticker is unbroken, unless the item is faulty or not as described.
This is for hygiene reasons, as uniforms are worn for physical activity and water bottles are used for drinking. Personalised or made-to-order items are non-returnable unless faulty. If you notice an error in your order, please contact us within 1 hour of placing it and we will do our best to help.
Some items are made to order and may take longer than 3 weeks to arrive. These will be clearly marked on our website.
